GTE (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is dedicated to protecting the privacy of your personal data. We have created this Privacy Policy to explain what personal data we collect from visitors to our websites, including https://www.gte.xyz, and all related websites, mobile apps, platforms, and web-based services (each, a “Site” and collectively our “Sites”); how we use that information; and how we share it with others. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy and reach out to us using the contact methods at the end of the Privacy Policy if you have any questions. This Privacy Policy incorporates the Terms of Service found on our Sites.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services, even if they may link to our website or if our site links to them. We recommend that you review the privacy practices of those third parties before connecting accessing third party websites and sharing any personal data.

1. Personal Data We Collect
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “personal data” means individually identifiable information about an individual consumer collected online by the operator and maintained by the operator in an accessible form. Personal data does not include “aggregate” or other non-personally identifiable information. Aggregate information is information that we collect about a group or category of products, service, or users that is not personally identifiable or from which individual identities are removed. We may collect the following personal data about you via our Sites:

We may ask you to provide us with certain information on our Sites when you contact us, sign up for an account or otherwise interact with us, including contact information and other information about you. For example, we may collect account information (such as first and last name, username, photo); contact information (such as an email address and phone number); and information about your digital wallets and transactions on our Sites.

Our Sites may use cookies and other tracking technologies such as web beacons, embedded scripts, and tags, which collect information from you automatically as you use our Sites, including:
Browser and device data. When you use our Sites, we may automatically collect information such as IP address, geolocation data, device identifier, device type, operating system and Internet browser type, screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, language, plug-ins, add-ons, and the language version of the Sites you are visiting.
Usage data. When you use our Sites, we may automatically collect information such as browsing history, time spent on the Sites, pages visited, links clicked, language preferences, patterns of use, and the pages that led or referred you to our Site. We also collect information about your online activities on websites and connected devices over time and across third-party websites, devices, apps, and other online features and services. Service providers. We may collect personal data via our service providers, including order fulfillment, communications, and analytics providers.
Social media and other content platforms. We may collect personal data through our Discord channel if you interact with us on that platform, including your communications with GTE Discord community members, your Discord profile information, and any personal information you choose to disclose through our Discord channel. We may also collect personal data through platforms such as Google, X, MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, or WalletConnect if you access our Sites through a third-party connection or login.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on the Sites and we hold certain information. We may process personal data (i) as necessary to perform our contractual obligations to you, including, but not limited to, those obligations in our Terms of Service; (ii) as necessary to pursue our legitimate business interests as further detailed below; (iii) as necessary for our compliance with our legal obligations such as a request or order from courts, law enforcement or other government authorities; and/or (iv) with your consent.
We may collect, process, and maintain personal data to pursue the legitimate business interests outlined below. To determine these legitimate interests, we balance our legitimate interests against the legitimate interests and rights of you and others and only process personal data in accordance with those interests where they are not overridden by your data-protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. Providing, improving, and developing our Services, including to deliver your requested services, send you messages and provide user support, customize the Sites to better fit your needs as a user, develop new products and services, and perform internal analytics and research and development. Protecting you and others and to create and maintain a trusted environment, such as to comply with our legal obligations, to ensure compliance our agreements with you and other third parties, to ensure safe, secure, and reliable Sites, and to detect and prevent wrongdoing and crime, assure compliance with our policies, and protect and defend our rights, interests, and property. In connection with the activities above, we may conduct internal research and profiling based on your interactions on various Sites, content you submit to the Sites, and information obtained from third parties.
Providing, personalizing, measuring, and improving our marketing, including to send you promotional messages and other information that may be of interest to you with your consent. We may also use personal data to understand our user base and the effectiveness of our marketing. This processing is done pursuant to our legitimate interest in undertaking marketing activities to offer products or services that may be of interest to you.
6. Children’s Data
Our Sites are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under the age of 18. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on the Sites, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately, and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
7. Data Security and Retention
The security of your personal data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. We maintain appropriate technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to help protect the security of your personal data against unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure or misuse, but we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We encourage you to secure your account with a strong password and to keep your password private.
We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. This information will be used and retained to the extent necessary to comply with any legal obligations or policies, to resolve disputes, and/or enforce legal agreements. Personal data may also be retained for internal analytic purposes. This information is retained for a shorter period of time, unless it used to enhance security features or improve the functionality of our Sites. Our determination of precise retention periods will be based on (i) the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you (such as whether you are a current employee or contractor) (ii) whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject; and (iii) whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position, including regard to applicable statutes of limitations, litigation or regulatory investigations.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices or relevant laws.
